We are rightly proud of the facilities we have at Lansdowne, which are quite unique and impressive for London independent sixth form colleges. View the panoramic 360 degree images in the media payer above. Further details are described below.
Study Centre
This centre is used for study outside the classroom. It provides all
students with a bank of up-to-date computers with free internet and
e-mail access, although there is wi-fi available for all throughout the
building. There is a scanner and photocopier for student use. The Study
Centre also holds a range of newspapers, magazines, reference materials,
past examination papers, UCAS and careers information.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria is the main focus of social activity at Lansdowne
during the day. It is open from 8.30am and serves a selection of hot and
cold snacks and drinks.
Hall
Unusually for an independent college in Central London, Lansdowne is
able to boast a 200-seater hall <
> used for theatre, special events and indoor sports that include
table tennis, indoor football, netball, pool and badminton. As it is
also used for both exam practice sessions and the actual public
examinations, our students have the benefit of sitting GCSE and A Level
examinations in familiar surroundings.
Garden
A small garden at the back of the building, furnished with outside
tables, benches and garden umbrellas provides pleasant surroundings for
students to socialise and relax.
