The mix of expert and enthusiastic tuition, small class sizes and our extracurricular support programmes at Lansdowne makes us the ideal place to study for your A Levels. The caring and collaborative community at our College provides excellent education, allowing our students of mixed ability to achieve their full potential. We do recognise that this potential is different for each of our students and realistic targets are set accordingly. Students are able to study any combination of around fifty subjects.

The majority of our students join us after their GCSEs for a two year Sixth Form course. This would be following four AS Levels in their first year and then three or perhaps four A2 Levels in their second year. However, increasingly we are seeing students join us after they have taken their AS Levels elsewhere and have become disenchanted with their school or college and are seeking a fresher and more positive environment. We assist at every step to make this transition as easy and as seamless as possible.

We realise that successful and meaningful A Level education means more than just tuition and so our A Level students have the benefit of all our ancillary programmes, be it the one-to-one mentoring and monitoring of the Personal Tutoring system, the rigorous and invaluable Examination Practice sessions or the myriad other support structures we have at our College.
