Lansdowne College Boarding

Helping Our Students Feel Comfortable, Happy and Safe

Lansdowne College’s accommodation offers a secure and comfortable environment where our students can make friends and have their own space to study, contributing to their happiness, safety and academic success.

Our students have the opportunity to live in one of two well appointed residences, both within easy reach of our leading sixth form college and central London. Our younger students live in Princess Beatrice House in nearby Earls Court, while Pure Hammersmith is for students aged 18 and over.

Princess Beatrice House

Princess Beatrice House is a short walk from Earl’s Court underground station and just a 15-minute tube ride from our London sixth form college. This accommodation is for students under the age of 18. Secure entrance is via electronic key cards. Our house parents live in the boarding house and are available 24 hours a day at reception and around the residence to ensure students’ welfare and safety. They ensure a high level of support and pastoral care outside of the classroom and organise a wide range of activities throughout the year. Single or shared rooms are available, all with built-in storage and study desks. All rooms are en suite with studio kitchen facilities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Monday to Friday in the dining hall with brunch and dinner available at weekends. There is high-speed Wi-Fi throughout and CCTV in communal areas. We make every effort to provide the first choice of room type, however this is not guaranteed.

Pure Hammersmith (18+)

Pure Hammersmith is for students aged 18 or over by the start of the programme of study. It is located just two minutes’ walk from Hammersmith station making it very accessible for both college and central London. This impressive accommodation block offers modern spacious rooms and communal areas along with state-of-the-art gym facilities, laundry and a cinema room. This exclusive facility allows students to experience a little bit more independence, but with 24/7 support, making it a useful bridge into university life.
