Providing intensive tuition to students retaking their A Levels is how Lansdowne started over 30 years ago.

Despite the fact that A Level retakes comprise only a fraction of what we do now, we retain the expertise and enthusiasm for teaching these exciting and intensive courses and the great success in securing our students top exam grades is testament to this.

At Lansdowne, we offer three types of A Level retakes – a one year retake, a September/October to June retake (short retake course). This allows students to enter Lansdowne to complete their UCAS application, then to take a ‘gap’ of 5 to 6 months before returning to have a focused teaching programme leading up to the Summer Exams.

Alongside the rigorous tuition, retake students also enjoy all the benefits available at the college and their dedicated personal tutor will also assist and oversee their university application. Details of our retake programmes are in the drop-down menu.
