Two Year Sixth Form
…Lansdowne encourages the student…
Lower Sixth students, depending on ability and plans for University, normally study three or four subjects (preferably four) at Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level, continuing in the Upper Sixth with three of these subjects to full Advanced (A2) Level. Some students continue with four.

Course outlines are available to help students consider which subjects to study so that the choice of subjects can be discussed in more detail at interview. If a student is undecided between two subjects, Lansdowne encourages the student to attend both classes for two weeks or so, after which the choice is normally much clearer.
