The NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) is an internationally recognised programme that prepares students for entry to university.

Our leading London sixth form college specialises in preparing students to attend the best universities through outstanding teaching in small classes. In 2015, 77% of our IFY students received offers from Russell Group and Top 20 ranked universities.
Founded by 11 leading UK universities in 1987, NCUK is a unique programme designed to help international students achieve places at prestigious UK universities. It provides access to a choice of nearly 3,000 degree courses.
Upon successful completion of the NCUK programme, students are guaranteed at least two university degree course offers and one place on a suitable degree programme at one of these universities:

The course includes a specialist English for Academic Purposes (EAP) module designed to give students the language abilities needed for an undergraduate degree in the UK. EAP grades may be used for university entrance and visa purposes with no need to take an IELTS examination.
Assurance of Quality
All NCUK programmes are created in conjunction with, and quality assured by, their founder universities. The NCUK IFY is recognised as being equivalent to UK A-Levels, the Australian Senior Secondary School Certificate of Education and the United States Advanced Placement.

English for Academic Purposes
Students develop academic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills together with the skills required to interpret academic texts and write academic assignments.
The overall aim is to ensure students have a solid grounding in many aspects of business studies and feel confident in commencing the study of business-related courses at undergraduate level.
This course provides an introduction to basic economic concepts and principles. The first semester deals with microeconomic issues; the second semester with macroeconomic issues.
This course covers: Logical Thinking; Reasoning; Theoretical and Applied Mathematics; Modelling; Interpreting Results.
Society and Politics
This course provides students with a strong foundation in a variety of political topics. Traditional Society and Politics syllabuses have been modified to allow for students who have little or no background knowledge in this area.
