Subjects

Chemistry and Biology are the two most important A Level subjects for students wishing to apply for either Medicine or Dentistry. Students can be flexible in their other subject choices but top grades are required across all of their A Level exams.

The Medic Programme at Lansdowne gets these results through intensive, high quality teaching and hard work from both staff and, most importantly, the students themselves. The courses are designed to be equally effective for those who need to retake to achieve top grades and for first time students who are capable of getting top grades.
 

Length of Course

First time students may do either: a two year course; or a one year course; or any combination of the two. Retake students may do either: a one term intensive course from September to January; or a two term course from January to June; or a one year course from September to June; or any combination of these three.
